Faro Waitlist

Privacy

Last updated: 6 June 2026

Faro is an autonomous agent that represents tech talent. This notice explains what personal data we collect when you join the waitlist, why we collect it, and the choices you have. Plain language, no dark patterns.

Who we are

Faro ("we", "us") is the data controller for the waitlist. For any privacy question or request, email [email protected].

What we collect

  • Name — to address you personally.
  • Phone number — Faro delivers over Telegram, so this is how we reach you about roles.
  • Email address — backup contact and waitlist updates.
  • Your function (e.g. Product, Engineering, Design) — to understand who's signing up and match relevant roles.
  • Basic usage data — privacy-friendly, aggregated analytics about how the site is used (via PostHog, EU region). No advertising trackers.

Why we use it, and our legal basis

We use your details to operate the waitlist and to contact you on Telegram or by email when a relevant role surfaces. Our legal basis is your consent, given when you submit the form. You can withdraw it at any time (see below).

Who processes your data

We share data only with service providers that help us run Faro:

  • Cloudflare — hosting and database (stored in the EU, Western Europe region).
  • PostHog — product analytics (EU hosting).
  • Resend — sending waitlist emails.
  • Telegram — messaging, when we reach out about roles.

We never sell your data, and hiring companies never pay us for it.

How long we keep it

We keep your waitlist details until you ask us to remove them or the waitlist closes, whichever comes first.

Your rights

If you're in the EU/UK you can ask to access, correct, or delete your data, or to withdraw consent — at any time, no questions asked. Email [email protected] and we'll act on it.

Changes

If this notice changes, we'll update the date above. Material changes affecting how we use your data will be communicated directly.
